To be blunt about learning guitar it can easily be done with online lessons because the videos are already made and there is no pressure or hourly costs on you that can result in bad playing. You do not have to pay someone upwards of a hundred dollars to master guitar, you just need the drive.
What really matters is that you get the basics down first and then move on your own from there. Then learning to play lead by soloing can be very rewarding. Keep on practicing and practicing with your own lessons so you become like one of the pros.
