How long does it take to learn songs on piano?
It’s probably the question that is on a lot of beginners minds when they start learning piano. How long is it going to take for me to learn a few songs on the piano. The exact time it’s going to take isn’t easily predictable, and it depends a lot on how quickly you learn the basics of key names and how to play chords. Generally a complete beginner learning using a piano lesson dvd can learn the basics in about 8-12 weeks. With the knowledge you’ll learn during that time you should be able to play your first songs within 2-3 months. The key is taking your time, practice and enjoying what your doing.
